News Year's Day is a great time to focus on our balance between opening and closing. As 2024 closes, we will let go of what no longer serves us, and as 2025 begins, we will open our hearts to the possibilities of a new year.
This all levels practice will begin with breath awareness, leading into a guided visualization that will encourage you to envision the new year ahead and identify your word or intention for the year.
We will practice variations of forward bends, back bends, twists, and opening our hips and our hearts to help release this past year and open up to the next.
Our practice will conclude with a restorative pose, guided relaxation, and savasana. 60 minutes
